This is some explanation for our nfts
1. Traditional Clothes (Exclusive)
DKI Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia has a distinctive culture like other regions in Indonesia and is home to the Betawi ethnicity. Betawi people have some typical clothes that are used according to their activities. The clothes are divided into everyday clothes, semi-formal clothes and also formal clothes. For daily clothing, men of Betawi usually use koko shirts, batik pants, adhesive hooks and also Peci. This clothing is called the oblique tip because it is usually used by gentlemen.
While the formal wear usually uses a dark colored suit with pantalon pants and is equipped with batik cloth which is usually used at the waist.
For women, they usually use a long kebaya on the front and lacy. Then at the bottom just use a typical batik cloth from Betawi. The clothes used for women are also called Encim clothes.
2. Wayang Puppet (Rare)
Wayang or also known as wayang kulit is a show that attracts the attention of the audience with a riveting storyline that is skillfully explained by the dalang. In his performances, the dalang will tell the stories of kings, princesses, giants, and knights, using deft hand gestures and narration.
Wayang is a classical Javanese shadow puppet show that is known to have developed before the 10th century. Wayang is famous for its intricate and orchestrated performances and this ancient form of storytelling originates from the island of Java in Indonesia. The term puppet, comes from the Indonesian word for “shadow”. Wayang kulit using figures made of buffalo skin, is considered to be the oldest independent form of wayang, the earliest reference to this type of wayang dating back to the 800s.
King Airlangga (1035–1049) wrote: “There are people who cry, are sad, and are moved by the sight of wayang, even though they know that it is just pieces of carved leather that are manipulated and made to speak. These people are like men who are thirsty for sensual pleasures, living in a world of illusion; they don’t realize the magical hallucinations they see aren’t real.”
3. Animal Primate (Common)
Orangutans are one of Indonesia’s endemic primate species which are considered to have more intelligence than others. This animal is the only primate of the great ape species in Asia
Orangutan is one of Indonesia’s endemic species which is an important part of Indonesia’s biological wealth. Currently, there are three known species of orangutan, namely the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii), the Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus), and the Tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis).
